Expected use

• Contact a journalist only when your brand genuinely adds something to the subject they cover.
• Attribute claims to a source you can stand behind.
• Keep outreach short, specific and honest about what you are offering.
• Honour opt-outs immediately and permanently.

Prohibited use

• Bulk, untargeted or repeated outreach to the same contact.
• Misrepresenting who you are, who you work for or what you are offering.
• Fabricated statistics, quotes, research, awards or customer results.
• Offering payment for editorial coverage or links without disclosure.
• Uploading confidential or embargoed material you are not authorised to share.
• Attempting to identify another customer’s activity, contacts or campaigns.

Enforcement

We may pause outreach, suppress contacts or suspend an account where activity risks harm to recipients or to the platform. Where possible we will tell you what changed and why.
